Compression Bandaging Instructions - Upper & Lower

Repeat with second 6cm short stretch, however only one layer at the hand and ending above the elbow this time Start 8cm bandage at the wrist, overlapping by half layers up the arm.  Add another 8 cm or 10 cm bandage starting just below elbow and finish just below the armpit at the base of the upper arm

Lower Extremity Self Wrapping

Prepare wraps and materials prior to performing wrapping Place stockinette on leg from foot to upper thigh Apply cottonette in a circular manner, overlapping by half from foot to upper thigh Start 6 cm short stretch bandage at base of toes overlapping by double, half with crisscross at the ankle then overlapping  by half up leg

Start 6 cm short stretch
bandage at base of toes
overlapping by double, half
w/crisscross at the ankle

Repeat with second 6 cm short stretch bandage, but only one crisscross at ankle Start 8 cm short stretch bandage at ankle with overlapping by half up leg to about the knee Start with 8 or 10 cm short stretch bandage just below knee.  Overlap bandage below by half and wrap up to about mid-thigh Use remaining 10 cm bandage to cover the top portion of the leg. Start 10 cm bandage at or just above the knee and end the wrap at the top of the thig

Repeat with second 6 cm
short stretch bandage,

Start 8 cm short stretch bandage at ankle with overlapping by half up leg
to about the knee

Start with 8 or 10 cm
short stretch bandage just below knee. Overlap bandage below by half and wrap up to about mid-thigh

Start 10 cm bandage at or just above the knee
and end the wrap at the top of the thigh
